9000 BCE       JERICHO on the Jordan River in Palestine, becomes a mud-brick town around this time. It is where the mother goddess, a triad of ‘high’ gods, and a fertility cult are followed. Jarmo is the equivalent ancient town in Mesopotamia. These are pre-pottery Neolithic cultures using stone tools and vessels

c9000             GOBEKLI TEPE TEMPLE, in Turkey, it is the oldest temple known and part of a huge complex built on a previously used site. The construction is in a circle and contains ‘Tau’ shaped monoliths with low relief carvings of animals upon them. This temple will be discovered in 1963 CE but not excavated till 2000 CE at which point it will turn previous ideas on human evolution upside down. For unknown reasons the very large site was deliberately backfilled and buried after 2000 years usage.

8800               SILVER AGE ruled by the constellation CANCER begins, and the cult of the mother-goddess reigns. There starts the emergence of vast tracts of land from under the northern ice sheets, whilst the duality of human nature becomes more emphasized and reflected in sex as the material nature of humanity begins to dominate the spiritual nature.  Around 8000 BCE is postulated as the time of the great biblical flood and of moon worship and is generally thought to be the time of the final retreat of the glaciers; up to this point the Sahara desert of Africa was covered in savannah.

                       The first agricultural settlements in the Mesopotamian Valley of the Middle East begin to appear. There are Amorites in the North, Elamites in the East and Sumerians in the South. Sumerian settlements will develop into city-states which will eventually coalesce into a nation. By The Aryo-Egyptian people will have returned to Egypt by about 8000 BCE, from their refuge in the Arabian mountains and settle near Abydos. They will resurrect the civilization of Ancient Egypt.

7500               OSIRIS now rules in Ancient Egypt until about 6900 BCE at which time the double rule of Horus and Seth will take over. The corresponding dawn star at the Vernal Equinox is the brightest shield star of constellation Orion, and the North Pole star is iHerculis.

7000 BCE      ORPHEUS is the 8th reincarnation of Thoth in Helles (Greece) and he weaves a magical network of music to feed the souls of the people. Thousands of years later the worship of Orpheus will be seen in the Orphic and Eleusian Mystery schools of classical Greece. The Egyptian man-god Thoth will become known to the classical Greeks as Hermes Trimegistos, a name that distinguishes him from their own lesser god Hermes.

                       This time marks the beginning of settlement in The Faiyum oasis of Egypt, the location of Lake Moeris. The Faiyuim or She-resy, ‘The Southern Lake’, is a fertile depression containing the lake, Mer-wer ‘The Great Lake’, which is called in Greek, ‘Moeris’, and later, Birket Qarum. The chief deity of this area is Sobek the crocodile god. The Faiyium is also the area of the earliest known pyramid development. Anciently known as the ‘Land of Roses’ the Faiyum, was inhabited by a sea people, the ‘Atlanteans,’ who passed on their wisdom and star knowledge to the people we have come to know as the Ancient Egyptians. The god Ptah [Greek Vulcan] is associated with the early architecture of this area, as is Osiris in his crocodile form of Sobek representing cyclic renewal.

                       SEBEK/SOBEK: (GK: Suchos) the Ancient Egyptian crocodile divinity who will be the patron of the kings of the 13^th Dynasty. A live crocodile is kept in a lake attached to the chief sanctuary, he is called ‘Petesuchos’, ‘He who belongs to Suchos (Sebek)’. The crocodile is held to be an incarnation of the god who in turn is the son of Neith. Sebek was the Demiurge who, on the day of creation, issued from the dark waters, where until then he had reposed hidden in order to arrange the world. Sebek’s principal sanctuary is in Shedet (GK: Crocodilopolis) in the Fayyum. Far in the future 20^th century CE, on the shores of Lake Victoria-Nyanza, an old crocodile called Lutembi will still be venerated by the local inhabitants.

                       NEITH: the triple goddess of Sais in Egypt, also called Anatha, Ath-enna, Athene, Medusa. The name means ‘I have come from myself’. She is the world body, the ‘Primal Abyss’ from which the sun first rose, ‘the cow who gave birth to Ra’. She is known to the Greeks as Nete, one of the original trinity of Muses at Delphi. In the Bible she is called Asenath (Isis-Neith) Great Goddess of the city of Aun or On.

                       CHEDDER MAN: In the land later to become known as England this ancient man is living in the ‘Cheddar Gorge’ cave. He has the same genetic makeup as a man living in the 20^th century CE.

                   The Lyre of Orpheus was placed in the sky after his death. The major star of the constellation Lyre, is Wega, which sings out the music of the Cosmos and is the apex of the sun’s way.

The Sun is now at approximately 7 degrees of the zodiac sign Scorpio and opposite the star Hamal in the constellation of Aries.

Do you know the difference between the zodiac signs and the constellations that have the same names?

The pathway of the Sun around the Earth [as seen from Earth] is called the Ecliptic. The Ecliptic circle is divided into 12 divisions of 30 degrees each. Each 30 degree section was given the name of a zodiac sign, Aries, Taurus, Gemini etc. This was to assist in the location of planets and how to interpret their influence on the beings and organisms that inhabit the planet Earth.

The constellations are groups of stars that lie closest to this Ecliptic belt. Our ancestors gave the groups of stars mythological characters that hold knowledge to help us on our way to self discovery. Luckily humans cannot yet destroy the outer space that holds the stars. The wisdom of the ancients was deep. It is the constellations that were given zodiac names originally and later these names were transferred to the path of the Sun, the Ecliptic circle.

It is quite possible that ‘Halloween’ is the remnants of the ancient Celtic Festival of Samp'in meaning the fire of peace (of death)- and gave emphasis to the star Hamal located in the head of the constellation of the Ram. In ancient Egypt this constellation was the Goose known as the ‘Great Cackler’.

Hamal is associated with Aloros, the first of the ten mythical kings of Akkad, before the Deluge of history. These king’s reigns coincided with the distances apart of the ten chief ecliptic stars beginning with Hamal followed by Alcyone, Aldebaran, Pollux, Regulus, Spica, Antares, Algedi, Deneb Algedi, and Scheat.

Greek temples at various places between 1580-360 BCE were oriented to the star Hamel c.Aries, those temples of Zeus and Athene being especially favoured.

The mythological Sun hero fled on the back of a Ram with his sister Helle to Colchis in order to escape the wrath of their stepmother.  Helle fell off and was drowned in the sea. At the end of the journey the Ram was sacrificed and the hung fleece turned to gold and became the object of the Argonauts' quest.

10,400 BCE   TEP ZEPI or the First Time of OSIRUS, a time when the gods first fraternized with hu-mans. This was achieved via the Pharaohs who were the divine link between the gods and the custodians of the laws and wisdom on Earth. Another interpretation says that this is the time when that the gods with-drew from Earth and the pharaoh became their spokes person on Earth.

                       The celestial stars of Orion’s Belt align with the Giza Pyramid marking the start of a great cycle or the current ‘Great Year’ of approximately 26,000 solar years.  Possibly the design and building of the Great Pyramid encapsulates the laws of this ‘First Time’ or ‘Tep Zepi’. This present ‘Great Cycle’ will reach the climax of its half-way point about 2550 CE. 

This is also the postulated time for civil war in Egypt and the possible birthing of a new nation out of a disintegrating world; one of a multi-racial society coping with planetary changes of earth quakes, sinking continents, great floods, movement in the alignment of Earth’s polar axis. Out of this chaos will emerge a leader called Thoth and the beginning of history as we know it.

Between 10,300 and 8,500 BCE there is evidence of plaster being used as an architectural material.

10,000 BCE   MESOLITHIC CULTURE. This is the approximate beginning of the ‘Middle Stone Age’ or transition phase between Palaeolithic and Neolithic eras. This period rises following a climate change after the retreat of the last glacial sheet. It saw the development of agriculture. Metallurgy is practiced in the highlands of eastern Anatolia.  Europe is invaded by the Azilians, descendants of the Iberians.

                       Around now is the time of the destruction of the ancient continent of MU, the original Motherland of humans, and which now becomes the bed of the Pacific Ocean. This culture had been built on 100,000 years of study and experience. The MU inhabitants, the Naacals took their knowledge of Cosmic Forces and creation, inscribed on clay tablets, to India and to Mexico. These tablets record the ‘Sacred Inspired Writings of Mu’, also known as Lemuria, and indicate an original creating force from which four great forces emanate and which are the executors of the original impulse.  Possibly these are the same as the four great archangels of Christianity, the guardians of the four corners of the universe, Michael, Raphael, Uriel, Gabriel.

                       According to Scott-Elliot the Lemurians occupied Earth 230 million years ago as the third root race. 100,000 years ago was the existence of the sixth Atlantean sub-race, the Akkadians.

9600 BCE      War between the antediluvian Athenians (worshipers of Athena) and the Atlantians (followers of Poisdon) results in cataclysms and destruction of the races. This is the deluge of Anti-deluvian mythos.

                       The Athenians are probably the Bear Race from Ursa Major and the Atlantians a race from Arcturus or Spica.

                       As the fourth and final catastrophe of Atlantis, Poseidonis, the remaining island of Atlantis, is submerged. The tidal wave caused by this event again temporarily submerges Egypt and brings to an end the rule of Divine Dynasties there and the ‘Lodge of Initiates’ transfers its quarters to other lands.

                       The sinking of Poseidonis/Atlantis will be recorded in Plato’s ‘Timaeus’ as taking place in 9564 BCE. A vast tidal wave is recorded as sweeping over Egypt, and a land mass rises to create the Sahara Desert where a shallow sea had been before. For 1500 years the 3 pyramids will stand alone watching primitive tribes come and go before the Aryo-Egyptian people returned from their refuge in the Arabian mountains.

                       The second THOTH now sets up a mystery school in Egypt for the purpose of resurrecting the ancient wisdom. This knowledge will be recorded in relief inscriptions and in papyrus manuscripts in sacred character but of common tongue. This is the Thoth that became designated as ‘Trice Greatest’ by later philosophers. Each incarnation of the god Thoth/Hermes in his turn is taken to represent a new reign of priesthood. The language of the first priesthood is no longer spoken by this time.

                       THOTH II is also known as ENOCH, 7^th generation from Adam and great grandfather of Noah. As a Great Sage of Atlantis, Enoch is a collective name for the inner masters, high initiates or King-priests who are guardians of the light of sacred wisdom knowledge of the gods. Thoth II is a sage of Anu (On/Heliopolis) and one of the Ennead centred here, a group of priests of great wisdom and guardians of time as measured by the stars.

                       Artaud in 1858 will write that, in the mystic sense, Thoth or the Egyptian Hermes, was the symbol of the ‘Divine Mind’; he was the incarnated ‘Thought’, the living ‘Word’, the primitive type of the ‘Logos’ of Plato, and the ‘Word’ of the Christians. The Trismegistic treatises to be discovered in the 11^th Century CE are the later recordings of his divine and mystic knowledge.  In accordance with the shift of the centre of power, Thoth was probably transposed to Anu (Heliopolis) from Khemennu (Hermopolis) where he had governed the earlier Ogdoad.

                       ENOCH the Biblical Patriarch is sometimes identified with the Great Thoth II. Enoch is the ancestor of the Phoenicians who built the Great Pyramid and called it ‘The Pillar of Enoch’. Enoch is attributed with recording the ‘Book of Enoch’, which is based on the original book given by the angel Raphael to Adam who was the first ‘Thoth’. The ‘Book of Enoch’ is a treatise on 15 stars, which is possibly the same as the future Ptolemy’s 15 stars of the first magnitude. Enoch’s book also records the importance of 15 herbs and 15 stones with 15 figures engraved upon them. (Note that this number is an astrological half cycle of Moon and Saturn, and reduces to 6 the number of creation.)

                       According to Genesis, Enoch lived 365 years (a multiple of the Solar cycle) and is stated to be the founder of Astrology.  He wrote 366 books about his visions and voyages.  The ‘Book of Enoch’ is said to be a great influence on the ‘New Testament’ and will be held as a canonical book by the early Christian church fathers in the future. It holds information on angels and their control of nature, on man and the future. The ‘Book of Enoch’ will be discredited c300 CE by the founding Church Fathers but accepted again by Augustine c420 CE. No outward mention of the book will be found in either the east or west after the 9^th century CE.

                       Enoch also wrote the ‘Book of Jeou’, which is a cosmology and a guide for souls. These works will be used by the Gnostics around 0 CE, and are heavily based on number correspondence as a code and symbolism for mystical principles.

                       The wisdom of Thoth will descend in fragments to the 20^th century CE, as a collection of texts gathered under the head of ‘Corpus Hermeticum’. This knowledge has backed the Hebrew faith and formed the basis of the various Gnostic religions and will do so for the Christian faith to come. The ‘Corpus Hermeticum’ will be first collected and recorded as one body of work in a Latin text about 150 CE but the sacred ‘Books of Hermes’ were originally composed during the reign of the Gods, preceding that of the first human king, Menes.  The Greek Stobaeus will in the future preserve a fragment of the ‘Hermetic’ writings called, ‘The Sacred Book’, in a volume called ‘The Virgin of the World’.

12,800 BCE  The Age of Virgo begins. This is the sign of the Virgin when Gaea comes of age and conceives a child. The herald of this event is an Archangel messenger in the form of Mercury relaying from Jupiter or God the Father. A new generation of humanity is conceived and a new order initiated. During this age the ice sheets of the last glacial period begin to withdraw and lands are drowned by melting waters. Other lands are exposed by the retreat of ice cover.

                   

                   This is approximately the end of Pleistocene geological epoch, which is marked by great changes. The Upper Palaeolithic Cultures are now replaced by Neolithic Culture and there is the appearance of the first farming communities.

12,000 BCE  The Pole Star of planet Earth is Vega (Wega) of the constellation Lyre (and will again be here in 14,000 CE). This dating corresponds well with the theory of the ‘First Time’ (c10,400 BCE) and the start of a 'Great Cycle' as postulated by the authors of ‘Orion’s Mystery’. It also corresponds with the world age being cuspal Libra/Virgo and the initiation of a new cycle of evolution.

                    ‘Prehistoric’ cultures exist in Upper Egypt and are designated by the names of Badarian, Naqada I and Naqada II. This is the time of the Hor-she-Shu, whilst the pre-dynastic ‘Pyramid Hieroglyph Texts’ indicate a belief in the afterlife among the circumpolar stars; this is before the ascent of the solar god cult of dynastic times. During the pre-dynastic period in Egypt the country was divided into 22 small states called ‘Nomes’. Of the villages in Upper Egypt one  carried the name of  Nubt.

                   

                   NUBT is a fortified town and early capital of Upper Egypt, known to the Greeks as Ombos after the local god Seth the Ombite. It is considered the site of the kings of the First Dynasty of a United Egypt, the first being Menes, another being Hor-aha. Temples to this god Seth, will be found right up to the ‘New Kingdom’.

11,000 BCE  The Age of Leo begins and brings a great rebirth of human evolution and culture. Man in harmony with himself is symbolised in the Sphinx which depicts an amalgam of the four fixed signs:- Leo, Taurus, Aquarius, and Scorpio. This is the age of the Egyptian sun cult as reflected in the megalithic stones. It is a time that also marks the first age of the Egyptian zodiac as depicted later in the Ptolemaic Dendra zodiac of about 50 CE. The star tHerculis is the North Pole star.

                      RAAI, (RA)  King of Egypt, is also thought to rule around this time as lord of a black race in the area of the Upper Nile (near the future valley of the kings). At this time the people are invaded by white Caucusus/Carpathia people, led by King Arart and guided by the priest Ra-Ta. The two races settled, after some antagonism, under the rulership of a triumvirate of Araaraat (Horus son of invading King Arart/Osiris), Arart (a native scribe) and Ra-Ta (a native priest). Raai would later be deified as the god Re.

                   

                     Next came an influx of new peoples, a red race from the sinking continent of Atlantis. They brought with them advanced knowledge of science, technology and historical records. 

                   Re as sun god, wears a crown with two ostrich feathers. The daughter of Re is Maat (to become the Greek Athena). Arart/Osiris takes over from Re. Osiris wears the white crown of Upper Egypt and the two feathers of Re, which becomes known as the Atef crown and symbol of the unity of two peoples, the inhabitants and the white invaders. The crown of lower Egypt is the red ‘deshret’, the crown of Upper Egypt is the white ‘hedjet’ The double crown of united Egypt is called the ‘pschent’.

10,500          The third and final destruction of Atlantis comes about. This is the one mentioned by  

                     Solon and later recorded by Plato. The upheaval caused the remaining three islands of

                     Atlantis to sink and forced those who survived to migrate to other parts of the world.

Commencement of the building of the Great Pyramid, which will take a hundred years to construct as a hall for initiates of the Great White Brotherhood with whom Hermes and Re are associated. In a nearby smaller pyramid are housed the records from Atlantis. They will be lost with time and re-discovered in the 21^st century CE according to the visionary Edgar Cayce.

Zeus & Kronos : Jupiter & Saturn

The two time-keepers Jupiter and Saturn are in the process of forming the waxing square of their 20 year cycle, indicating a struggle between expansion and contraction; between growth and keeping a steady pace.

Jupiter – Saturn 20 year cycle, from one conjunction to the next, correlates with a base rise and fall of the global socio-economic balance. This like all cycles passes through 4 critical or choice making phases. The last quarter of the current cycle is being demonstrated in the retraction of the Chinese economic growth and the growing problems associated with mass migrations of displaced people. Both problems are making huge global impact. On the one hand, over expansion of production, on the other, severe contraction due to wars.

Kronos/Saturn

The waning square began late 2014 between Jupiter at the end of Leo  and a retrograde Saturn at the end of Scorpio. [November 14; July 15].

 

 

Leo is the pride of people and nations in maintaining control and prestige. Scorpio is the unseen energy behind the life force that keeps the planet turning. These two considerations were at logger heads during the initial square formation, and continue to be so for the present.

The square of Jupiter and Saturn continues till mid 2016 between Jupiter at mid Virgo and Saturn at mid Sagittarius [March-June16]. Sagittarius has much to do with international movement of people, both as tourists and as migrants/refugees. Virgo has much to do with business, commerce and trade. Both areas of concern are suffering.

 

 

After the square aspect has petered out, there will be the sextile aspect to help us find resolve and solution before beginning the next Jupiter-Saturn cycle.

The next important socio-economic marker is when Jupiter and Saturn form their next conjunction in 2020-2021, complicated by the interference of Pluto. Until then, there is more than likely to be a slow decline of our current global situation as previously reigning structures breakdown in the chaos before reinventing themselves for a new 20 year cycle.

The previous conjunction of the two great time-keepers was in the year 2000 in the sign Taurus, indicating that we had entered a 20 year period of learning to handle material wealth and property.

The coming conjunction and new cycle of Jupiter and Saturn will be in the sign Aquarius, meaning that from 2021 we will enter a 20 year period of learning more about human values on a global scale. Perhaps this will be the true beginning of the ‘Age of Aquarius’. This new 20 year cycle could be the beginning of true humanitarianism or alternatively it could mean wiping out all individuality for the “common good” of the whole, and we become a world of flat robots.

True to all natural cycles, that of Jupiter and Saturn is not that simplistic or as clear-cut as the above would indicate. Before settling into Aquarius, Jupiter and Saturn play tag between the end of Capricorn and the beginning of Aquarius throughout the year 2020, a rocking back and forth between the old guard of Capricorn and the new revolutionary thinking of Aquarius.

39,720 BCE       Start of pre-dynastic Pharonic Egypt according to the Turin Papyrus.

36,100 BCE       Start of pre-dynastic Pharonic Egypt according to Diodorus of Sicily.

30,000 BCE     Start of pre-dynastic Pharonic Egypt according to Manetho. This period covers the reigns of the demigods, the Horus pre dynastic kings.

30,000 BCE       Upper Palaeolithic period (30,000-12,000). Cave paintings exist in Southern France. Between now and about 28,500 BCE, the second great cataclysm of Atlantis occurs and which causes the continent to break into three smaller islands to be called Poseidia, Og, and Aryan.

26,000               A Great Precessional Year starts at the cusp of Aries/Pisces. It constitutes the last of the 50 cycles of Great Years counted since the beginning of the ‘Age of Man’. ‘Plato’s Year’ or the ‘Great Year’ consists of 25,920 Earth years, which is about 2,160 Earth years for the Vernal Point to travel across one constellation in reverse order of the zodiac and according to the theory of the ‘Precession of the Equinoxes’ or the shift of the pole axis. The Lemurian Race is delegated to this time.

25,000              Post-glacial period begins with evidence of modern humans in Europe. However, some evidence pushes back the date of human habitation to 40,000 BCE.

23,760                The Vernal Point reaches the Aquarian cusp and the Atlantean Race rules.

c22,000             The time of the postulated cusp of the Capricorn Age. The Myth of Deucalion records the devastating waves of a great flood, whose waters are ordered back by Triton blowing his conch. The conch had been invented by Aigokeros alias Capricornus.

20,000 BCE       The HOR-SHE-SHU hold power in pre-dynastic Egypt. This name may be derived by descendency from Horus the Elder. This is about 14,000 years before Menes unifies ancient Egypt according to orthodox texts.

                    The Shemsu-Hor, known as the companions, followers or worshippers of Horus are situated between now and 16,800 BCE. They are said to reign in ancient Egypt following the time of the ‘Venerables’ of the North and are people of the ‘Falcon Clan’. Their original home was in the West Delta of Egypt, and they formed an earlier united kingdom than that which Menes will create in c3000 BCE when this ruler will unite Upper and Lower Egypt. This is the approximate time when the Vernal Point reaches the cusp of Sagittarius in the great cycle of the ‘Precession of the Equinoxes’.

17,300 BCE       The ‘Age of Scorpio’ begins. It is the dark before the dawn of Libra and the turning of the wheel in the evolution of planet Earth and humans.

15,300                Age of Libra begins between now and 15,120 BCE. This is the start of the turning of the wheel of evolution on Earth and for humans. Is it the age of Venus/Eros or Divine love.

15,000 BCE       This is the time of the first known recording of lunar phases and the Summer Solstice sun is in Capricorn in the northern hemisphere. Thus Capricorn receives the name of  ‘Father of Light’. The goat, symbol of Capricorn, was sacred and exalted to this sign. The Babylonian Priests wore a sacred dress of goatskins in ritual to honor this fact.  This occurrence may be a memory of the Babylonian sea god Oannes who had a fish tail. The god Oannes came from the ‘deep’ to bring civilization to the land of Sumeria and may be equated with the god EA.  The Ancient Egyptians knew of the Southern stars.

14,000               Height of PERUVIAN EMPIRE under Inca sovereignty, it is considered an echo of the previous Toltec golden age. The language of the Incas as spoken in Mexico and Peru, was a slightly modified language of the Toltec Atlanteans. The religion of the Incas was bloodless offerings of fruit and flowers to their beneficent Deity Quetzalcoatl, until they were over-come by the more savage Aztec who worshipped the war-god Huitzilopochtli, a survival of the Turanian elemental worship of old.

13,500             THE MANU as guide to human development, directs Aryan migrants to go from the South Indian Empire to Egypt via Ceylon, here they inter-marry with the indigenous people of Toltec inheritance. The result of this inter breeding is the Aryan-Toltec mixture giving the recognised ‘ancient Egyptian’ race. A prophecy warned of a great flood to come in 4000 years time and so these people migrated by ship across the Red Sea and took refuge in the mountains of Arabia. This prophecy concerned the sinking of Poseidonis (a remaining island of the great continent of Atlantis) in about 9564 BCE.

40,000 BCE CRO-MAGNON humans are in evidence with well defined bladed tools, cave paintings, stone structures and evidence of measuring celestial activity.  This is the Homo Sapien or ‘modern human’ of the late Upper Pleistocene geological period, who may or may not have developed out of previous forms of humans. Mount Carmel, Palestine, gives evidence of the Neanderthal and the Homo Sapien existing together through most of the cultural Palaeolithic Age (old stone age).  Cro-Magnon man is a descendant of the Tlavatli Atlantean sub-race.

The reign of the DEMI-GODS begins. These Demi-gods are comprised of three groups making up 30 dynasties of great sages who manifest form/matter according to Spiritual Law. They are to exist for 25 Sothic cycle. SAGES OF EGYPT are colonists from Atlantis during the Titanic period of evolution

THOTH/TEHUTI The Atlantean/Egyptian Thoth/Hermes, world teacher and sage of the ‘White Lodge’, comes to preach the doctrine of the Hidden Light. He will reincarnate in the future as Orpheus c7000 BCE. Tehuti founded the outer cult of the Egyptian gods and restored the inner secret Mysteries. His mission was to teach the great doctrine of the universal ‘Inner Light’ which will be later echoed in the fourth Gospel of the Hebrew Bible. This ‘Light’ is personified in the god Osiris. In the Ancient Egyptian Triad of gods, Osiris is the divine spirit, Isis the Eternal Mother and Horus, man the child. Isis governs the ‘Lesser Mysteries’ for she is the Mother of all that lives, ‘I am that which is, which hath been, and which shall be; and no man has ever lifted the veil that hides my Divinity from mortal eyes’. Her temple is at Sais and the moon is her symbol. Osiris governs the ‘Greater Mysteries’ and is the mighty Planetary Spirit. Horus is the rose and gold of eternal love. In the mysteries, other gods are personifications of divine principles and as such they are channels for particular intelligences. Ptah was the craftman of these gods. The 4 children of Horus are the 4 quarters or cardinal points that support the heavenly canopy. Hapi the ape head was the North, Tuamutef the jackel head was the East, Amset/Kestha the head of man was the south and Qebsennuf the hawk head was of the West. These 4 are the kings of the elements, and came to be known as the cherubim of Ezekiel, the 4 beasts of Revelations as well as representations of the 4 fixed signs of the zodiac or the ‘corners of the world’. They represent the great building forces of the universe and one allocation says that in ritual their powers are symbolized in corn, (Nth/Earth)  wine, (Sth/Water) oil (West/Fire) and salt (East/Air). The purpose of the ‘Lesser Mysteries’ was to educate and culture the masses, to give knowledge of this world and that one beyond the gate of ‘Death’; of man’s place in the scheme of things and therefore what was worth doing and being.

SESHAT, Lady of Letters, Mistress of the Library, is goddess and the feminine counterpart of Thoth. She wrote down with her own hand the names and deeds of the Egyptian rulers on the sacred tree in the great ‘Hall of Heliopolis’. She is accompanied by Thoth and Atum in this duty.
